Team Phoenix held their first Show Day on 25th March at St Stithians Pool. Although the weather was a bit rainy this did not dampen the enthusiasm of 40 young beginners from 5 different clubs who were performing their routines for the first time.
Solos, Duets, Trios and Teams impressed the audience with excellent work and skills. It was very gratifying to see two coaches trained by Team Phoenix earlier in the year producing their first routines. Selected athletes completed their Level 0 and Level 1 figures along with the 12U and Youth figure competition.

After the show, Team Phoenix and CGA competition athletes performed their SA Nationals Routines as part of the CGA Championships. This proved very popular with the attending crowd and inspirational to the young athletes.
As part of our efforts to continue growing the sport, Team Phoenix will be holding another Show Day towards the end of the year. We are delighted to see all the new talent emerging! We look forward to an even bigger celebration of Artistic Swimming at the next Show Day.
