Laura Strugnell and Ayrton Sweeney competed in the Mixed Duet prelims this morning. Although an internet outage at the venue deprived us of watching live, a full video is below. Vicky was complimented on the clever and unique choreography that made this routine a crowd favourite.
Laura and Ayrton crush their routine in Budapest narrowly missing out on a place in the finals with a score of 63.6. A remarkable achievement.

Is this a secret new Quad routine? Laura and Ayrton teamed up with legends of the sport, Virginie Dedieu and Bill May during a training session and taught them the "party arms" section of their routine, with coach Vicky providing encouragement! We think there is some potential here!
